The Support Crew Speaks


If the race was tough on the racers, the support crew had it worse. Imagine driving 24 hours over bumpy, dusty roads while baking in the heat of the day and freezing during the night. You couldn't sleep because you were constantly talking to the racers, handing them water and monitoring the radio. (And these people volunteered to do this!)
